Rod fishing on the reef (8K)

Atiu is surrounded by a wide coral reef, home for a great variety of plants, shells and fish. It is an abundant food source for birds and human beings alike. For centuries, Atiuans have lived of God's well stocked table and perfected their knowledge of harvesting its riches without damaging the sensitive environment's harmony.

Join Papa Moetaua Boaza on his Reef Fishing Tour!

Moetaua Boaza (3K)You will learn about the reef's creatures and the local techniques for harvesting them. It'll be great fun to catch your own fish, Papa Moetaua can teach you how to prepare it the Atiu way. The tour depends on tide and weather. You need to wear appropriate footwear. Equipment will be provided. The tour takes approximately 3 hours and costs NZ$ 25.00 per person.
You can book your participation  through your travel agent on Rarotonga, your host on Atiu or directly  ringing (+682) 33013.
