Atiu
is surrounded by a wide coral reef,
home for a great variety of plants, shells and fish. It is
an abundant food source for birds and human beings alike.
For centuries, Atiuans have lived of God's well stocked table
and perfected their knowledge of harvesting its riches without
damaging the sensitive environment's harmony.
